Descon Kuwait has been awarded with the electro mechanical erection works of a 5500 TPD cement plant by Kuwait Cement Company. The plant is expected to reach its completion in two years, utilizing peak manpower of thirteen hundred. Descon will also be responsible for supply of the manufactured equipment; steel structure and 6000 tons of plate work, for the plant. Manufacturing will take place at Descon's Hamriyah workshop. As a mark of Descon's proven expertise for Petrochemical Plant Construction, TransAsia Refinery Limited (TRL) has awarded the OSBL, civil works, utilities, and crude & refined product pipelines jobs to Descon. Descon Information Systems continues its tradition of excellence by achieving Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 certification. The Level 2 rating was achieved using an independent Software Capability Evaluation involving extensive review and analysis of software and project management processes. Pressure Vessels consisting of HP Steam Drum, IP Steam Drum, LP Steam Drum, Blowdown Tank and Flash Tank for NEM's Malmo Oresundsverket project in Sweden are ready for shipment. This process equipment is manufactured under PED / CE marking certifications. Fauji Fertilizer has awarded Descon design & manufacturing of process equipment consisting of Ammonia Rectifier Overhead Condenser and Ammonia Rectifier Overhead Accumulator for its BMR Project (Ammonia Lot-2)
